Crohn's Disease is an IBD (inflammatory bowel disease). Parts of digestive system get deep sores called ulcers, and those parts get swollen. In many cases they can be found in the begging of the large intestine or at the end of the small intestine. But there are no rules. They can appear in any part of the digestive system, from mouth to anus. Doctors still don’t know what causes this disease. Some of them believe that the immune system has a much higher response than it should on bacteria in the intestine. It is known that some kinds of viruses and bacteria can increase the risk of developing this disease.

This disease can run in the families. People whose family member have Crohn's disease, has higher chances of developing it! Another factor that increases risk is smoking. Weight loss is also linked to Crohn's disease. The less common symptoms are: bowel blockages, mouth sores, anal tears and openings between organs. Some of these symptoms are minor at the beginning. You can make them worse if you smoke, have a hormonal changes or an infection.
